TD Canada Trust crowns a new champion!

Toronto, Ontario – ExperiencePoint and TD Canada Trust announced the launch today of “The Champion’s Cup”, a custom business game that is core to TD’s leadership development programs.

Champion’s Cup participants spend a year in the life of a regional branch manager and must balance a number of competing priorities while determining how to allocate their time over each quarter. The simulation surfaces key leadership challenges, people management options, and important trade-off considerations. After each business quarter, participants see how their decisions influenced key metrics on TD’s balanced scorecard. Because Champion’s Cup is played in teams, participants share experience, practice team skills, and develop an appreciation for using colleagues as resources.

Perhaps the most surprising aspect of Champion’s Cup is how quickly and inexpensively the solution was developed.

“Industry benchmarks tell us that a simulation of this length, richness, and complexity should cost about $300,000 and take a minimum of six months,” stated ExperiencePoint’s co-founder James Chisholm, “much to our client’s delight, we delivered in 8 weeks and for under $100,000.”

How was this possible? ExperiencePoint has created EXPRESS, a simulation building tool that enables inexpensive, rapid development of world-class business games. Working in partnership with clients, ExperiencePoint can now deliver custom solutions in 1/3rd the time and for less than 1/3rd the cost   of their competitors.
