  • Changes in Stakeholder Buy-in more visible

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to clear the cache on your browser (and on any computers running the simulation) to see the new features.

Detailed game debrief for individual users

What we heard: “I want more information about my games so I can get a higher score!”

What we did: We created a detailed printable debrief to give users more detailed information about their games. In addition to already available information, users can see:

  • the total effectiveness of each tactic
  • the effectiveness of WHEN (timing and sequence) for each tactic and HOW (for execution tactics)
  • the optimal stage of implementation for each tactic and prerequisites, if any
  • a graph showing how the user implemented a tactic vs. the optimal implementation

How to access this feature:

  1. Clear your browser’s cache
  2. Log into http://login.experiencepoint.com
  3. Launch the simulation
  4. Select Debrief a Game under the Play menu

Changes in Stakeholder Buy-in more visible

What we heard: “After implementing a tactic, I need to assess the impact on Stakeholder Buy-in and Company Buy-in. Can you make it easier?”

What we did: We increased the visibility of changes to Stakeholder Buy-in by taking the user directly to the Stakeholder Map after implementing a tactic. We also added color-coded indicators to the stakeholder portraits, the stakeholder buy-in meters and the overall Company Buy-in meter on the dashboard.

Updated execution tactics

What we heard: “It can be difficult to remember which stakeholder is which in some of the execution tactics. Can you make it more like Stakeholder Mapping?”

What we did: We now let users choose a change agent, core team members, and company problem statements from the Stakeholder Map by clicking individual stakeholders, similar to the Stakeholder Mapping tactic. (Updated tactics: Identify Change Agent, Appoint Core Change Team, Identify Problem)

Identifying a Change Agent

What we heard: “In Stakeholder Mapping, the color for Helpers is sometimes difficult to read.”

What we did: We changed the color of Helpers to blue to increase readability.

Minor visual updates

What we heard: “We love the little touches on the Stakeholder Map!”

What we did: We updated some of the visuals in the Stakeholder Map and in one of the ending movies. Load up the simulation and see if you can spot all the differences!

Fixed some behavior for the tactic “Fire an Individual”

What we heard: “I’m seeing a ghost! Sometimes the person I fired comes back to provide feedback on my tactics.”

What we did: We fixed this issue. Now you can say goodbye to Scott Bell for good.
